What's the minimum I have to order?back to top

There is no minimum order.

What if a wine I've ordered is unavailable? back to top

Occasionally, an item on your order may be unavailable. If this should happen, you will be contacted by Theatre of Wine and offered suitable alternatives.

What's the standard delivery time?back to top

For our free local delivery services, please let us know the day and time most convenient to you when you place your order.

For our UK wide delivery service, we aim to deliver within five working days from receipt of order (unless instructed otherwise).

I'm not satisfied - how do I return goods?back to top

If at any time you are dissatisfied with one of our products, we would like to hear from you. Telephone or e-mail us and we will be pleased to help.

You are entitled to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt of goods.

A full refund, excluding return postage and packaging, will be given upon receipt of a written cancellation request. All goods should be returned to us in good condition. Refunds will be processed with 30 days.

My order is a gift - can I include a message?back to top

Yes. You can write a gift message on the mail order form when you complete your order or let us know when you place your order by phone. This will be included with your gift when we deliver the wine.

I want a wine wedding list for my weddingback to top

Our wedding list service is just what you need.

We can set up your wedding list on line - from your personal favourites and / or carefully selected recommendations. See our wedding section for more information.

I want to access my friends' wedding list?back to top

Once your friends have chosen the wine they want, their list is posted online and they should be able to direct you to their page.

Alternatively, if you can’t locate their list online, please drop us an e-mail (Greenwich@TheatreofWine.com or TufnellPark@TheatreofWine.com), quoting your friends’ names.

How do I book a place for a tasting? back to top

You’ll need to contact your local shop to book a place for a wine tasting.

Seats for tastings should be paid for in advance to guarantee your place.

How do I look for a specific wine?back to top

You can search the wine you’re after by name and producer name, vintage and price or by country and region.

I need help on searchingback to top

The search function helps you find the wines which are in stock and available to order.

You can search for a wine by category by using the category field.

You can search for a wine by region by using the region field.

You can search for a wine or a producer by name by using the key words field.

You can search for a wine by vintage by using the vintage fields.

You can search for specific vintages by selecting 'equals' and entering the year you're after in the first vintage field.
You can search for all vintages for a particular wine category and / or a region by selecting 'at least' and entering the minimum year you're after. So for example, if you select 'red' from the category field, 'Spain' from the region field and 'at least' '2002' from your vintage fields, the search results will return all wines from 2002 for red wines from Spain.
You can search for all vintages for a particular wine category and / or a region by selecting 'no more than' and entering the maximum you're after. So for example, if you select 'white' from the category field, 'South Africa' from the region field and 'no more than' '2003' from your vintage fields, the search results will return all wines for vintages earlier than 2003 for white wines from South Africa.
You can search for all vintages between specific years for a wine from a particular region by selecting 'between' and entering the earliest date in the first vintage field and the latest date in the second vintage field. So for example, if you select 'white' from the category field, 'France Loire' from the region field and 'between' '1999' and '2003' from your vintage fields, the search results will return all wines for vintages between 1999 and 2003 for white wines from France Loire.

You can search for a wine by price by using the 'minimum' and / or 'maximum' price fields.

When a wine description is underlined on your search results, you can click on it for more information on that particular wine.

If you cannot locate the wine you're after, it may be that we're running low on stock. The best thing to do is to contact us as we'll be able to tell you straight away whether we still have availability or when we're next expecting to stock that particular wine.
