If you’re planning a party, it’s always difficult to know how much drink to provide. We think it's always better to get too much rather than too little… and we are happy to offer sale-or-return on all large orders.

You must mention sale-or-return when you’re placing your order.

All goods must be returned in a re-saleable condition – this means unopened bottles; no labels peeled off by chilling; etc.

We'll accept up to a third of the original order back. Please let us know the details of the goods you wish to return and quantities prior to collection.

Wines can also be returned to our shop.

Setting up your wedding list

Once you have chosen a selection of wine, your wedding list is set up online.

Guests can order wine by phone or download the mail order form on the wedding list page and mail it to us.

How to select wine for your wedding list?

You may have your personal favourites already… and we can always make careful recommendations based on your tastes.

Most couples select wines for everyday drinking as well as some bottles for special occasions.

As well as wine, you can also add spirits, accessories or vouchers towards our wine tastings or wine courses to your wedding list.

What happens if a wine on your wedding list goes out of stock?

Occasionally, an item on your wedding list may be unavailable. If this should happen, you will be contacted by Theatre of Wine and offered suitable alternatives.

When can we expect our wedding wines to be delivered?

You can choose the date you want your wines to be delivered. This is normally a date after the wedding.

How much will it cost to have my wine delivered?

There are no delivery charges for items chosen directly from a wedding list as most wedding list wines will qualify for free delivery. In the event that your wedding list wines do not qualify for free delivery, our normal delivery terms will apply.

Can guests choose items not included on our wedding list?

Yes, they can. Our normal delivery terms will apply to items ordered outside the wedding list.

I want to include a gift message with my wedding list order?

That’s absolutely fine. You can write a gift message on the mail order form when you complete your order or let us know when you place your order by phone. This will be included with your gift when we deliver the wine to the couple.

Wine Tastingsback to top

We hold weekly tastings in the shops and regularly welcome winemakers to talk us through their wines. We also organise themed wine and food dinners. Details of these can be found in the Tastings section of our website.

We try to make our tasting events accessible and fun for all. If you have never been to a tasting before then have no fear, just e-mail the number of places you require and join in.

All tasting events start at 7:30pm at Theatre of Wine unless otherwise stated. Places should be booked in advance by e-mail or telephone.

We are open to suggestions, so if you have an idea for a tasting, please contact us.
